Before graduating from the Faculty of Law, Ivana Anicic was a member of the bidding committee for the European Universities Games Zagreb – Rijeka 2016 and later an employee – Head of volunteer department and associate in legal affairs. EUG 2016 gathered more than 5,500 participants from 45 European countries, 1,500 volunteers and more than 350 European universities.
Currently, Ivana is associate for projects, volunteer programs, and legal affairs in Croatian Academic Sports Federation (CASF).

In the last 5 years Ivana was also working as a volunteer manager during 2021 FIBA Olympic qualifying tournament, 2021 Split Open ATP Challenger, 2020 SEHA Final Four, 2019 ITF Super Seniors World championship, 2018 EHF European championship, 2018 - 2020 UTMB - 100 miles of Istria and others.

Lilia is Education and Development Director in FISU working with 174 Member Associations providing platform for development education to students and officials as well as to FISU events organisers, she was project leader for FISU Global Strategy 2027 development in 2016-2017.

Holding Executive Master in Sport Organisation Management (MEMOS) and law degree, Lilia has been working in sports for the past 15 years. Before joining great FISU team 6 years ago as knowledge management manager, she was head of volunteers and knowledge management for Summer Universiade in Kazan in 2013 and also worked with future Olympic and Paralympic Games organisers at Sochi Games in 2014, was head of the FISU International Educational Centre.

Graduated in physics and law education courses, he also holds a postgraduate degree in sports training and a master's degree from the Memos program, where he studied on the dual career path. A judo athlete, with a 4th degree black belt, Luciano specializes in managing the sport. He has been president of the Brazilian University Sports Confederation since 2004, and is also a full member of Brazil's national sports council. In his professional life in sports management, he has already been secretary of sports for the state of Alagoas and the city of Maceió and is a manager of major sporting events held in Brazil. In university sport he competed in several Brazilian judo championships and coached the Brazilian judo team at the 1999 university.He was also a professor at the Federal University of Alagoas and is currently a businessman with businesses in various segments, specializing in sporting events and other categories.

Michal is freshly graduated bachelor of European Studies at Comenius University in Bratislava, where Michal dedicated his studies to focus on sports diplomacy.


Recently a member of the Organizing Committee of the European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF) 2022 in Banská Bystrica as a Supervisor of volunteers. In addition, Michal has been participating in many sports events, especially helping the Delegation or Media Services (Men's EHF 2022, Men's IFF 2021, European Games 2019).

Malaika Dedier is from the twin isle Trinidad and Tobago. She is a part-time Digital Content Coordinator, Freelance Social Manager, and footballer to the core. She spends a lot of her time creating memories and trying new experiences. She enjoys hikes, days at the beach, and fellowship with new people.

After graduating from The University of the West Indies in July 2021, in addition to working she has had excellent opportunities for growth and development and creating better life balance and wellbeing through training with the Senior Women's National Football Team for world cup qualification, bible study groups, reading non-fiction, and her new skill moderating. When it comes to volunteering, she is a youth leader and sometimes volunteers at special events such as concerts and community outreach programs. She was a FISU Student Ambassador 2020-2022 and is truly excited for the experience of FVLA 2022.

With a career spanning over 40 years I might have learnt something about the Customer Experience, the power of Community Development through Sport, the Business of Management, Managing Major events, Dual Career Education, Campus Development, Sport Operations, Program Legacy, Sustainable Development, Crisis Management, Inclusion activations and Government Relations that others might find valuable?
Having retired in 2021 after 19 years as the Director of Team MONASH at Australia's largest University- Monash University- I now have much more time to devote to my current role as an elected Director at FISU as well continue to contribute to the activities of UniSport Australia (NUSF) and FISU Oceania (CUSF) plus getting involved with projects and causes that I am really passionate and excited about such as the UNFCCC Sport for Climate Action.

Digital & Media Assistant at FISU since November 2020, I graduated from the University of Nice in France with a Bachelor in Economics and a Master's degree in Digital Media & Marketing.

I started my career in Paris working in the promotion of entertainment on social media (Cinema, Music, Gaming, Travels…) Passionate about sport since forever, I became the social media manager of a professional Volley-Ball Club and had the chance to collaborate with some national and international federation.

Now, It has been almost 2 years that I run FISU social media activities and had the chance to work on different exciting digital projects despite the pandemic and several postponements/cancellation of events. The best is yet to come!

Sami A. Garabedian is a senior instructor of physical education in the Department of Social and Education Sciences and senior director of athletics at the Lebanese American University (Beirut) from 1994. He has been a member of the FISU Education Committee since 2012 and currently serves as its Vice-Chair. He is also a member of the Education and Development Committee of the Arab University Sports Federation (AUSF) and is the newly elected President of the Lebanese Federation of University Sport (FSUL/December 2021). He holds a Masters in Athletic Administration and Coaching from the University of Miami, Coral Gables, Florida, USA (1983) and a BA in Business Administration and Economics (1981) from the American University of Beirut (AUB), Lebanon.
FISU Media & Communication Manager

Alex Green is FISU's Media & Communication Manager, leading the multimedia, TV, and FISU event media management aspects. He graduated from City, University of London in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in journalism, having specialised in multimedia and broadcast. His professional experience in investigative journalism and multimedia reporting working in London for TV production companies, Channel 4 News, and Argus Media has given him good insight into the world of broadcast and specialised press. On his return to Switzerland, he helped manage one of the country's largest cultural events – La Fête des Vignerons 2019. On the side, Alex is also Press and Information Officer during his mandatory military service in the Swiss Army.

His focus is now set on developing the digital TV channel FISU.tv where he aims to increase the quality and quantity of content, mainly through the livestreaming of FISU and NUSF events.

Starting his journey as a university athlete, Ahmad began taking an active role in his university's athletics department by assisting in managing university league games, managing sports events for students and alumni, and creating ways for university sports to cross the boundaries of the university and provide positive impact within the community.

This allowed him to take part as the Lebanese representative at FVLA 2017 and 2019. With a bachelor's in Information Technology Management, and a master's degree in International Management, Ahmad has focused his work on project management with an emphasis on community development and volunteer management.

Current captain of the Sri Lanka National University Women Basketball team. 2 times Champions of the Senior National Basketball tournament for two consecutive years. The most valuable player, in the Senior National Tournament 2020. Best women basketball player of the University of Kelaniya, 2020. Former Sri Lankan National Basketball player represented Sri Lanka at FIBA Asia Championships.

Freshly graduated from the University of Kelaniya with First Class honors for special degree in Finance. Currently works as a financial research analyst in a global research organization.

Mevan Induruwa is a fourth year medical student at the University of Ruhuna, Sri Lanka. He is the FISU Student Ambassador for Sri Lanka (2021/2022) and has been a part of several events organized by the Sri Lanka Universities Sports Association (SLUSA). Mevan represented the university swimming team at the FISU Summer Universiade in Napoli (2019). Mevan was also part of the organizing team which was involved in hosting the first ever IDUS celebrations in Sri Lanka in 2020 and in the following year (2021) too.

He led a team of media personnel to design and publish the first ever SLUSA Magazine in 2021. He was also involved in celebrating the International Volunteer Day (IVD) for the first time together with SLUSA in December, 2021. Mevan also took part in the FISU World Forum (online) in 2020.

Maya Kateka is a sport administrator with over 4 years of working with different sports bodies in Malawi and abroad. She holds a Master of Sport Administration from the Russian International Olympic University (RIOU) in Sochi. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities degree from the University of Malawi. Her postgraduate research focused on the impact of good governance codes on the structure and operations of NUSF in Africa, specifically examining their effect on the organizations' development strategies.
She has excellent grassroots sport experience through her work with ChildFund Rugby's Grassroots to Global Series program and the Baller Kunthazi initiative which she founded in Malawi in 2018. Additionally, she also has experience in sport event management, project management, and a strong understanding of sports governance structures which has been attained through her affiliation and and involvement with the University of Malawi, International University Sport Federation, and the World Anti-Doping Agency.

Mirinda Kidman has lived in Australia, the Netherlands, United Kingdom, USA and worked in sport in France, South Africa, and Uganda. Bachelor's degree in 'International Sports Management and Business', master's degree in 'Sport Business and Leadership'. Has international experience, being working and/or volunteering at the FISU World University Netball Championships, the Netball World Cup, the UEFA Men's EURO 2020 and UEFA Women's EURO 2022, EUG 2022 and Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games. She has the position of International Administrator at the UK NUSF responsible for the organisation of participants attending world class sporting events. Mirinda is also strongly connected with the FVLA completing her masters research on how Sustainable Leadership can be created through FVLA, presenting on how sport can be sustainable overall and supporting with media.

Viktor has been working in sports for several years as a board member of the NUSF, a board advisor and programme leader of sports at the National Union of Students in Hungary and member of the Hungarian Rectors Committe and the Hungarian Accreditation Committee regarding to sports, in addition to taking part in the work of Fisu CdE, and parallel had been working as professional coach in sailing. In my professional life I am working for a Big4 company in a finance and law related field as my studies are similar besides sports studies and often teaching fresh graduate coaches as a volunteer

Mercy holds a bachelors degree in Dental Surgery from Makerere University, Uganda. She has been a volunteer in sports since 2014. Currently serves as a member of FISU students committee and assigned to committee of media and communications. She is a former student representative in both the executive committees of Federation of Africa University Sports(FASU) and Association of Uganda University Sports(AUUS). In 2018, she was a member of the Local Organizing Committee for FISU World University Netball Championship held in Kampala, Uganda. In the same year won an award for best project (IDUS) during the FISU forum in Krasnoyarsk, Russia. Mercy is an alumnus of 2019 FVLA and participated in gender equality round table 2017 as a panelist in Taipei and 2019 in Napoli, Italy. Aside from being a volunteer, she plays cricket in the Uganda women's league and is also a member of the Uganda National Youth Council where she is championing sports development.

Olivia is currently Education and Development Coordinator in charge of the coordination of the FVLA and FISU Student Ambassadors programme from FISU side. After completing the Master's Degree Programme "Olympic Studies, Olympic Education, Organisation and Management of Olympic Events" at the International Olympic Academy in Olympia (GRE), she was working in various major sports events (Olympic and Paralympic Games, Football Euro Cup, World Cups, etc.) for several years. Olivia was also head of a Rhythmic Gymnastics club in France for more than 10 years and used to compete at National Level for nearly 20 years.

Graduate student in economics at the University of Potsdam. Since March 2020 he is a member of FISU Student Committee. Starting his studies at Germany's former capital Bonn, he came into university sport as Head of Sports Department of the respective Student Union. Furthermore, he represented the students in several committees on regional and national levels ending as member of the adh board where his areas of responsibilities mainly are sport and competition, student engagement and internalization ias well as the Rhine-Ruhr 2025 FISU World University Games. As a result of his work in adh projects he was appointed as German delegate for FVLA 2018 and came back in 2019

Albina worked on the strategic direction and development of FVLA since its inception in 2017. She started volunteering in 2008 and was awarded a Volunteer of the Year status in 2010 in Kazan. She was the Head of Communications and Database at the Volunteer Department during the Universiade 2013. She pioneered and implemented a course and a book "English 4U" aimed at teaching volunteers from 20 cities of Russia. She has an extensive volunteering experience at the World University Games in Belgrade 2009, Erzurum 2011, Youth Olympic Games 2010, Innsbruck 2012, London Olympics 2012, EuroSkills 2016, WorldSkills 2017, FIFA World Cup 2018 and countless events in Kazan. Now she is the Project coordinator of both FVLA and FISU Student Ambassadors programme and also the FISU Auditor in the team of Healthy Campus programme.

Mahdieh Seraji is a FVLA alumni and PhD Candidate in Strategic Sport Management in Allameh Tabataba'I University of Iran. She is an open water swimmer and international Scuba diving instructor. She is a researcher in the field of human resource management in sport events and organizations and has focused on volunteer management in her PhD dissertation, since she has been a volunteer and volunteer manager in different national and international sport and educational events. She is also the head of volunteers committee in "Iranian Scientific Sport Management Association (ISSMA)". Since the beginning of the corona pandemic, she founded "Sport for Social Development Association" which aims to involve volunteers to help disadvantaged people in Iran to find an opportunity to participate in sport activities.

Celina Toth has been representing Canada internationally for more than a decade, winning seven FINA Grand Prix medals since her first in 2015, all of them of them on the 10m platform. In February 2019, she captured her first Grand Prix gold in Rostock, Germany. Toth has competed at two editions of the Universiade, winning individual 10m platform bronze in 2017 after a gold in the 10m synchro event in 2015. She was also part of Team Canada at the 2018 and 2022 Commonwealth Games. In both 2016 and 2018, Toth was a finalist in the 10m platform at the FINA World Cup. In her first appearance, she had placed fourth in the semifinal which helped qualify an Olympic quota spot for Canada in the event for Rio 2016. A Swiss investigative journalist and reporter, Olivier van Bogaert worked for many years for the largest French speaking newspaper in Switzerland before moving to the NGO/Charity world in 1991. He was Head of information at WWF Switzerland from 1991 to 1998, Senior Press Officer, then Deputy Head of Press at WWF International from 1998 to 2007, Head of Information and Communications at Terre des Hommes in 2008, Special Communications Advisor at WWF International from 2009 to 2011, Director of Media and Communications with the International Commission of Jurists from 2011 to 2021 and eventually joined FISU in February 2022 to lead the Media and Communications Department.

Oyunbileg Zorigoo, who holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Myongji University. Now, she is a DTM 10th batch at Seoul National University. Since March 2020 she is a member of the FISU Student Committee. She is an alumni of the FVLA in 2019, participated as a team leader in 2020 and as a speaker in 2021. She is a taekwondo player who has participated in Asian games, Gwangju , Taipei Universiades and WUC. She also has a lot of volunteer experience and worked as a volunteer at WUCs and other sports events which are held in Mongolia. She is an International Referee of the World Taekwondo Federation. Currently she works in Mongolian Taekwondo Federation.
